ONE WORD
GREENIES!!!
http://www.greenies.com/en_US/whatsgreen鈥?/a>Any advice on treating bad breath for my lab?
buy some chlorophyll capsules for your dog.its sold for people at health food stores.
my dogs get the runs from greenies.
i know they have Listerine strips for dogs.
lol not listerine but you get it.
what can u expect? dogs breath smells
if you really are so concerned brush her teeth. im' sure your teeth don't smell pretty by chewing just on gum.
dental chews just keep their mouth healthy and clean
it wont kill bad breath
Maybe its the food your feeding it. My dog has bad breath too and she likes ticktacks, they work a little
Having three dogs of my own i understand what you mean. Make sure you know what it has been eating as it might be one of the main reasons, Dental bones never worked for my dogs either so make sure you give your dog a variety of foods, rice is good for them and there coat
healthy food, raw bones, and regular brushing do the trick.
I've heard treats with parsley,
the parsley is supposed to be a natural breath freshener. I've never tried it, but I've seen treats made with it.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!
=D
Here's a video that might help:

also, you might try changing dog foods
I have heard great things about the Greenies brand dental chew sticks helping out with bad breath for dogs. I have a friend who buys this brand and her dog loves them. I would try them out if you haven't already.

If you find something that works let me know ok? My dog has the worst breath I have ever smelled and you don't have to be close! We call him carcass breath. If he breathes in your direction it almost makes you sick. He doesn't eat many scraps. I brush his teeth, used breath mints for dogs. Baking soda and asked the vet. Nothing has worked. I've had many dogs and none of them was ever this bad.
Go to your local pet store and ask them for dental bones. They should have a good selection of cheap ones.
Also you can buy a pet toothbrush and pet toothpaste at your local pet store but make sure it's for pets only!
Good Luck!
if you rub baking soda on the tonge itll do the trick it deodorizes while not harming your precious lab and itll also defend from plaque build up or you could go with the classic breath spread like the listerine spray for humans which is the mnity stuff you can get at publix or wlgreens itll freshen your babys breath too either works
you can buy Pretty cheap dental bones for dogs they clear bad breath !!
i hope i have helped it does work so try it
If you've had your dog at the vets, and her teeth and gum are fine, then maybe, it is her food. Have you changed her food, at all, or are you giving her table scraps?? She's still young, so maybe, you could introduce her to a doggy toothbrush! :)
