oh i'm so sorry, but at least its on your back and not somewhere everyone can see it, perhaps try the doctor he/she will give you something for it so it'll clear up quicker.I Got Real Bad Back Acne, Any Advice On Getting Rid Of It?
I feel your pain. I tried everything out there, pills, washes, topical creams, rubbing alcohol....everything! I did my research and here is what i found.

Acne is often caused by a hormone unbalance. Acne becomes present with the release of testosterone. Now as a woman or a man your body produces both estrogen and testosterone. In the body of a woman very little testosterone should be released into the body, such as in a man very little estrogen should be released into the body.

it's very common in women to have a little too much testosterone leaking out, so if you correct this problem the acne will go away. Talk to your dermatologist about going on the birth Control pill called ';Yazmine'; along with the pill ';Aldacdone';. It doesn't dry out your skin in the least. It's probably the best acne solution for women, and you don't have to be on it for a super long time. maybe a year at the most.

I had it super bad. I even ended up getting very painful almost cyst like zits which were large. I came to these pills as my last resort. I was so desperate to find something, and with hours of research i found this. Cleared it up like none other. I haven't had a single pimple in a year.

now if you're a guy i would try roaccutane. It's very powerful, it didn't clear up my bacne but from what i've seen, it will for the men.
Have you tried using a pyrithione zinc anti dandruff shampoo? Some examples would be Zincon, DHS Zinc, some versions of Head %26amp; Shoulders and lots of their generic competition. Just look for the active ingredient.

The process is to smear a thin coat on your back, a few minutes (5 to 30, say) before you shower it off very thoroughly. This active ingredient is oil soluble and will diffuse out of the shampoo and into your skin oils, making them give heartburn to any microbes living in your pores. This stuff kills everything (it is a biocide), so you don't have to know exactly what has camped out in your skin. But it also attacks your skin if the exposure is high enough, so if, while you are waiting, it starts to feel hot, time is up.

The treatment lasts for a day or two, so every other day is often enough.

I can't guarantee results (though I have heard from lots of people that got good results), but I can say that if it is going to work, you will notice real improvement in a week or less. After that, it is just healing taking place.

I guess the ideal situation in this case would be to consult a dermatologist. However, doing this can be rather expensive, unless you get your doctor to refer you. The medications that they prescribe are usually not very cheap either. This being the case, adolescents and teenagers that are struggling to cope with acne tend to look for effective over-the-counter treatments.

You could also try some alternatives, including looking at your diet and getting plenty of fresh air and exercise. Homeopathy has had some success,as well as tea tree oil, you can read more about it here if you like:

Also you should find some good advide on normal treatments on wikipedia.

Good luck my friend.
my son got it at 14 (really really bad) it runs in family. the doctor sent him to the dermatology department at local hospital and he got put on a drug called roaccutane. you can google it. it is areally powerfull drug but did work wonders. so get a referall from your doctor...in the meantime whatever you do dont squeeze them... it can leave scars..good luck
My son had this and it was difficult to get rid of. He's a good looking boy and i'm sure he was self conscious about it. Anyway, he went to his gp and is on a course of antibiotics and that worked. i know its annoying but trust me, it will clear up!
Use Proactiv every morning and night.
