It took me about 9 years to save up all of this very hard earned money. I worked 15 hour days for minimum wage. What should I do to myself. I wish I can simply condition my brain to forget about this trauma but it's haunting me. I want to die. Please give me honest good advice. My depression cannot get any worse. Are their people worse off than me?I recently lost all my life savings ($70,000) due to bad investments. What advice can you give me so I forget?
Please speak to a doctor about how you feel. Seriously. I knew a guy who worked with someone who lost 3 million overnight in stocks. The following week people who worked him were concerned he just ';wasn't himself';. They found out he had hung himself in his place shortly after.Look I know this is a hard situation, but please seek professional help.

Toll-Free / 24 hours a day / 7 days a week/ Strictly confidential I recently lost all my life savings ($70,000) due to bad investments. What advice can you give me so I forget?
you should Never forget that it happen because that is like saying it did not matter or that it did not happen. This is a terrible thing and I am so sorry for your loss. But you need to turn this mistake into a LESSON so it is no longer a mistake and come up with new ways to insure your future and build your bank account back up.
Of course there are people worse off than you.Turn this around there are so many motivational tapes and speakers out there you need to find a goal a reason to make this money back and more. Most millionaires have lost there money at some point but they refused to give up.Become the little train and know you can do it you simply need to get back on track.Good Luck
Instead of trying to forget this problem, use it as a learning experience. Be happy with what you have- money isn't everything. There are a lot of people worse off than you are.
Maybe volunteering at a homeless shelter, nursing home, or hospital once or twice a week will get your mind off of yourself and focused on helping others less fortunate than you.
I really hope things turn around for you. Keep your head up!
Hey look it's just money, money is not the be all end end all. Of course it's tough to lose it and I feel really sorry for you, but there are people out there who are homeless, drug addicts or just plain alone.
You need to concentrate on your family and not about money, a happy life is a fulfilled life, and you'll find it is built around family
There are always poeple who are worse off than you !
you have more life and earning potential left..
( a few years back I lost about 60k) in the stock market...I have learned a valuable lesson and fired my stock broker....moniter your own money every day !
dont give up !!!
start over...........I know its hard but......in time it wont hurt so bad as now...it took me years to get over the anger and the regret for not being more hands on ! kick myself.. but that was then and theis is now..people are losing Jobs/homes/ now....Tough for everyone!
start over..work hard save money ( in the bank) cash is king!....had you left it in the bank it would still be there today with a little bit of interest...........many people have had to start over ..even Donald Trump !.....so with that being said........hold your head up high and go earn another 70k or more!.....work hard and save.. you know how to do that but dont invest it...bank it- cash! in a safe deposit box.
My fathers family lost all their money and savings due to the war, they lived on the street, but my dad found a job working at a ranch, which allowed him to pay for the family and for his school. Moral is, something will turn up trust me, just make all your concentration on your family.
I've experienced major losses too. First I know God has always taken care of me, no matter how bad it looked. It's always been a step to improvement if I choose to see it that way. I take just one day at a time.
Thinking about yesterday always ends with me being sad, thinking of tomorrow frightens me. Right here, right now I'm OK, I'll bet you are too.
So let's be grateful we both have TODAY !
Smoke some weed. Lots and lots of weed. Then all you'll be worried about is eating Cheetos and what the hell is a sesame...
