It has to do with a marriage that has been one sided for 7 years involves 3 small children someone that always has to have their way or its a battle and the children suffer if mom doesn't go alone with what husband wants or does. How do you help someone who goes to counceling that is getting bad advice?
What may not be good advice for you could be for her.How do you help someone who goes to counceling that is getting bad advice?
If this someone is not content with the counselor they have they should seek a different one. Just because they have the credentials to be a therapist doesn't mean they are a good one. It takes two people to maintain a relationship and both have to be willing to change in order to make a marriage work.
That person needs to decide for themselves that they've had enough of this bullshit and things are going to change. And they can make those changes happen for themselves. It's called ';divorce'; and getting rid of the loser they're married to.
She should be the one to make judgment as to the advice being good or bad. Just be there for her if she falls on her face.
Do you have a romantic interest in her? That could cloud your judgment about the advice.
Just be there and be supportive of your friend
You give them better advice.
Hmmm..... that's a new one...kids being made to suffer because
MOM doesn't do what DAD wants.....role reversals.....
