If he is feverish, do not bundle him up a lot. Give him a cool, wet wash cloth to put on his forehead because he needs to cool down. Give him some cough medicine for the cough and put some Vick's Vap o Rub on his chest to help him breath easier. Give him lots of fluids like warm tea, orange juice and other juices with vitamin C. There is no cure, therefore no speed up process for the cold. Treat the symptoms for better comfort. Hot or very warm drinks no junk food as this ruins the system. Keep warm in a not too dry atmosphere.
