When is he going to rip into Barney Frank who told the world that Fannie and Freddie were financially sound in July 2008, about two months before they had to be completely taken over and became wards of the federal government? He attacked Cramer for his poor advice, but everyone knows that is not really why he attacked Cramer. First of all, you don't KNOW that Stewart attacked Cramer because of his recent criticism of the Obama administration. It's conjecture on your part. Even if all of the FOX pundits and dashboard loudmouths believe that to be the case, there's no way to prove it. It may have simply been bad timing on Stewart's part. Personally, I think it sounded like Stewart lost a bundle on his investments. Hey, we're all looking for scapegoats and we're looking for people to ';string up'; for this mess, but Cramer is just a clown, he didn't CAUSE anything bad to occur.


As far as Barney Frank goes, yeah, he's to blame but so is Bush and Greenspan,and etc. etc.etc.
Jon Stewart's demographic, votes for, would vote for and or participate in the carnal interests of Barney Frank. You NEVER EVER bite the hand that feeds you.


Criticizing Obama for the bonehead protocol mistake with the British Prime Minister was safe territory because he was not breaking news or taking a position different from anyone else.

the thing is the john stewart show is not news. he is comedy, making fun at the news. people need to stop taking john stewart seriously as it only shows what is funny. if we are looking to that show for our news then america is ******. comedy is not news, it's comedy. meant to make you laugh, and say ';haha you idiot';. it does no reporting but reacting. and that show loves to laugh at other peoples mistakes, cause its funny.
The difference is Cramer is on tv and supposed to be telling the people the TRUTH, not deceiving them. He knew all along what was happening and is just full of HOT AIR and BS.

He did not criticize Cramer for giving bad advice. He criticized Cramer for being a business journalist and not seeing the obvious signs for this collapse and not reporting them.
