Why do people give bad advice?

why do we chose to listen to them? all they know is the bad. not the good times. then why give up then? all things can be worked out. yes?Why do people give bad advice?
this is a good question. it is also very common.





when we have a problem and aren't able to sort it with our mate, we often (men and women) start complaining to family, friends, and co-workers and evetually possibly a shrink of some sort.





all they hear is the negative, want your happiness and will more often than not suggest to get out.





sometimes you should act on this advice if you cant toletate what is happening, but only you know and should decide this.

People don't give bad advice. I don't think. They simply give advice. If I give 2 people the same advice and they are both in the same situation, and they both take and use my advice, it doesn't mean they will both come out with the same outcome. Advice is simply and resolution to a question. Where it goes from there can be anywhere. People simply give what ever advice worked for them. Or what advice they did not take. Its your choice to use the advice given. Many have good intentions with advice given. Even so called BAD advice can be good. Just depends on how you use it. And of course the other way around. So called GOOD advice can be bad. Just depends on how its used and of course for both the situation. Many misconstrue advice given. they don't take time to think about what as said. Many only hear advice from one person rather than from different people. Then again they ask the WRONG people Its like going to the doctor. If one doctor says your going to die and there is nothing that can be done. Are you going to go for a second opinion or just listen to him and wait to die. On another note...if you had major headaches, fever, and vomiting for 7 days, would you go to a child and ask whats wrong with you or would you go to a professional doctor? Many people ask the wrong people.
What you are seeking is not advice, but rather, confirmation of yourown personal values, ideologies, situation or whatever. Much the same as 99% of all the other children on here!
I would answer but, again it might be bad advice. So instead I'll say something random.
