Ive never had a breakup from a meaningfull relationship. In the meantime, I just dont want to see her, because it brings to many emotions, but down the road we could occassionally get a coffee. Im just trying to keep myself as busy as I can, any advice?Any advice with dealing with a bad breakup?
I'm really sorry this happened to you, but I've been through it all before. What I suggest to do is first, try to get rid of everything that reminds you of her. Put all her stuff in a box and store it somewhere where you won't see it for a while. If you can't bring yourself to delete her off your phone, at least put her somewhere on the bottom so you don't have to see her everyday. As for what to keep you busy, that depends on your interests. Find a new hobby, do some charity work, etc. Once you are over her completely (and I mean COMPLETELY) then it's safe to be friends again. I hope you feel better and I wish you luck. You sound like a really great guy and I'm sure someday you will find the right person.Any advice with dealing with a bad breakup?
If you are standing your ground on this breakup, I suggest you guys not to contact each other at all for a period of time. In case there will be sparks, or even feelings and talks like ' why are you doing this, why do you,'; which eventually leads to quarrel and confusions.
Get your mind busy with friends. go out, watch telly, socialise, Friends will take your mind off this. Though temporarily, but the best bet is time. Time will heal and let you move on......
