I dyed my hair yesterday and it is really bad any advice?

My mom used a revlon boxkit to dye my hair with blonde highlights yesterday n well it dyed my whole head gold! its kind of nice but in the right light it looks like it should be in a X0men mag! should i dye it bak n how long should i wait to dye it?I dyed my hair yesterday and it is really bad any advice?
Depending on what level your blonde is . . . I would think that a simple toner would work. Go to a beauty supply shop and ask where the toners are. I have used Wella in the past and it has worked well. Since your hair is gold, you should use something in the Blue-Violet range. If you use just blue you might turn greenish, if you just use violet it could look more reddish than you want.

The toners will have one letter abbreviations. B = Blue, G = Green, V = Violet, Y = Yellow, O = Orange and R = Red. Just like the color wheel. Choose something that has base colors of BV to completely neutralize the gold in your hair.

Toners are usually mixed with only 10 volume peroxide and it only deposits color into your hair, it will not lift any more. Toners also fade rather quickly, so you have to reapply often. Most beauty store will also have a purple-ly shampoo that will help you with the upkeep.

If this seems like too much, you should go to a salon that has someone that specializes in color correction. (You might also want to deep condition with a protien based conditioner to strengthen and soften your hair.)I dyed my hair yesterday and it is really bad any advice?

even though you should wait a few weeks before dying it with a darker shade, I would go to a salon and get a hairdresser fix it. Maybe they could do a few lowlights to help it blend without dying all your hair again.
Darkening your hair is always easier than relightening -unless you go to a salon. This all depends on what is easiest for you and what you are going to be happy with. If you don't like gold, I would definately go see a specialist about lightening. If your hair has natural red hues in it it might be why your hair is 'gold'. If you want it lighter go with it, call a salon, always let them know ahead of time what treatments you have already done to your hair. If you are happy darkening avoid anything ASH colored- you don't want to be green.
well... instead of coloring it another permanent color which damages hair, use a semi-permanent color to tone it down... its gold so that means that its like orangey yellow; get a semi-permanent color with a blue-violet base (get it a blonde color) and it will tone out the gold... and keep it blonde... dont get it ash base because it will turn your hair green.... good luck.. if not get it professionally done... they know whats best for your hair...
it depends on how healthy your hair is , but if

you want to go darker you will FIRST have to dye it red %26amp; then the color you want, blonde hair

does NOT hold color , so you have to dye it red first %26amp; use the red to hold the new color .

been there %26amp; done that too, this is the advice a

hair stylist gave me %26amp; it worked, but my hair was

VERY healthy.
You should wait atleast two weeks or it will really fry your hair and try not to go to drastic because that is really hard on your hair... also you could try adding some highlights only a darker colour then you might like it alot better either way wait like two weeks and get some really good conditioners that way your hair doesnt get fried and really frizzy like mine lmao
I work at a salon and what we always tell people is it is better to come to us 1st, but as long as you are going to dye it w/o bleach it should be okay to do now. The rest it is gold is b/c you either didnt leave it on long enough, didnt get the right volume for your hair, or your hair was really dark to start with and it will not lighten anymore..the lowlights are a good idea and you can also get them to tone the gold to what ever color you want it.
since u went blond i am thinking that the bleach did damage to ur hair...so my suggestion from going to school for this and from messing up my own head(no on here has messed up their head as much as me i have dyed my hair and bleached like 32 times since November) i can tell you that dying again may not achieve the color u want...i would say just tone it out with a violet based toner or violet corrector as they are called....you can get them at sallys beauty supply...violet opposite of orange will tone down gold and make u appear more platinum.....you will mix the toner with a developer...i would get 10 volume for slight lift but not so much lift you will damage ur hair...no one wants to lose hair or end up bald
Don't dye it again so soon. If u do, it will be really bad for ur hair and ur hair will turn dry and shapeless. If u don't like it, wear a hat or bandana for a few days. Or u can just style it with a big clip, or chopsticks to take the attention away from ur hair and to the hari accesory. I would wait about 2 - 3 weeks to redye it. Till then, u can get a haricut or something instead.
Dyed hair is usually dry so put some olive oil and always condition after shampooing. good luck! ;)
You will have to go to a hairdresser to get it fixed because you may need ur hair striped.
Go to the Hairdressors! They'll fix it there!! I don't take that chance anymore! It could turn colours I might not like!!LOL
I suggest you go to a salon -- they can ';tone'; the highlights so they aren't so brassy. It's not the same as actually dying your hair and it's a normal process they use when people w/ dark hair want blonde, so not too too harmful to hair. It shouldn't be too expensive either.
i think you should go brittney and shave your head
Don't try to re-dye your hair. Go to a beauty supply store (like Sally's) and buy the Roux brand hair mousse. It comes in different colors (yes, like the little old ladies put in their grey hair to make it blue) that can tone down the brassiness of your color. There is a great color called Frivolous Fawn that is a medium blonde which can really tone down your hair - and it leaves it very soft and easily styled without doing the additional damage that hair dye will do.
