My Nephew at home is teething really bad and his cries are tearing my heart out any advice?

My Sister has been to the doctor and he gave her stuff for him but it only works for a certain time lengthMy Nephew at home is teething really bad and his cries are tearing my heart out any advice?
To be totally honest there is nothing that you can really do to help. Rubbing baby orajel on his gums does help a little. You can also try and give him tylenol for babies. One thing that I found works for my twins is giving him cheerios and also giving him teether tablets. These tablets are a godsent and they desolve under their tongue. They worked wonders for my last three. The hardness of the cheerios will help break the tooth through quicker. Also teething rings that have been frozen may help a little because of the coolness, kinda numbing it. I hope that I have helped you out a little. Good Luck!!My Nephew at home is teething really bad and his cries are tearing my heart out any advice?
Old way was dipping your finger in whiskey and letting your kid suck your finger. I never did that, even though all the medicines have some type of alochol in it. I started using teething tablets. You can get them at walmart and walgreens. It is a bit more expensive then oragel or ambesol but it works better. I don't use the gels because it numbs the back of the babys mouth and they can chock since they cant feel their slobber in their mouth. The tablets you just have to put them under the tongue if you can and it numbs their gums, it dissolves quick! I try everything before my sons tastes it. I thought it was better then gels. I hope this helps. Mander B.
I recommend Hyland's teething tablets. They are all natural and work great! I bought mine at Wal-Mart but I'm sure you can find them pretty much anywhere. The great thing is they dissolve instantly so you don't have to worry about the baby's age. I have three kids and have used them for all 3 and believe me they were a life saver!!! Good luck to ya, hope it gets better! :)
Try rubbing his gums with a clean finger or letting him play with the teething toys. Teething is not fun and can be very painful. If you are comfortable with giving him medicine, you can try the gum creams or infant tylenol. Good luck and remember that it doesn't last forever...
My little guy is the same way and when he gets really upset like that I give him a baby facecloth with an ice cube in. Just use an elastic to hold the ice cube in and put a little water on it. Make sure the elastic is tight so theres no chance of the ice cube getting out. it works well. I hope this helps poor thing it must be so painfull.
give him the necessities Tylenol, teether, baby oragel and lots of love only thing you can do wait it out be strong it will be over in no time
freezing a clean baby washcloth and have him suck or chew on it. Get wet first or course!
