Last night I had quite a lot of alcohol: 5 shots and a cup full of rum and 3 shots of gin. I threw up for several hours afterwards, and today all I've been doing is drinking water, sitting, and sleeping. I still feel like I could throw up at any time, and if anyone has any advice on how to handle my current state, it would be so very much appreciated. Thank you.Any advice for a really bad hangover?

Take some B-vitamins, also, try to eat something, I know it is hard but eat a little bit at a time, something like a banana and some saltines

More fool you.. you chose to drink no one made you do it, so you suffer the penalties.. if you have an allergy to gin then you should not be drinking it.. .. get some food into yourself
Suggest you take a cold shower to sober up and drink some coffee then go to bed

Protein is the best thing to cure a hangover. Crack about six raw eggs into a blender. Blend it and drink it. If you puke, try again until you can hold it down. That's when you'll start to feel better.
* Bananas. Bananas are rich in potassium, B-vitamins, and other nutrients to help restore chemical and electrolyte balance. Bananas are also soft, and won鈥檛 have any adverse effects on your stomach and digestive system.
* Weak coffee and crackers. Make a pot of weak coffee, using just enough coffee to color the hot water and give the drink some flavor. Add a few plain salted crackers to the coffee, and eat the resulting mush as a meal. The dish may not be appealing, but it helps to keep you from going hungry until you can fully recover from the hangover.
* Chicken soup. Stay away from premade chicken soup mixes, or chicken soup made from bouillon cubes. It鈥檚 best to make chicken soup with fresh ingredients, but stay away from heavy seasonings and go easy on the salt.

A hangover is caused by the alcohol depleting the fluids from your body causing dehydration. You need water, water, water, Advil, water and more water.
From now on when you are going to drink, alternate each drink with a glass of water and see if that helps. Also be sure to drink water before you got go to bed after you are done drinking and especially if you vomit. You need to replace the fluids that are lost as you should feel a lot better the next day.
For now, like I said, be sure to drink plenty of water and take the Advil and you should be fine soon.
