If you like someone, would you give them bad advice?

I like this guy I work with and he likes me too. I'm wondering if he's giving be good or bad career advice. Do you think you would give a co-worker you are attracted to bad advice?If you like someone, would you give them bad advice?

I wouldn't give bad advice to someone that I liked. That would be just plain wrong.

It is possible he is giving you bad advice. He might be giving you bad advice to serve himself....for example, telling you not to take that great new job somewhere else because he does not want to lose working with you. If you think he would act this way don't start a relationship with him. Way too manipulating and selfish!!
I would never even give my enemy bad advice as long as it was to help themselves and not to hurt others.





well taking career advice from a co worker can be fickle depending if you guys are on a low spectrum already. (maybe, maybe not)





the better person to ask is someone who has already done the steps to get to where you definatly want to go. but be weary cause this is a rough world and people are afraid of competition. be weary of advice and learn to research for your own success.

It depends on the guy and what the advice is for. If he is even slightly greedy and giving bad advice about something could lead to his advantage then he might be giving bad advice. It also depends on who he is giving the advice to. He might just be a little clueless about it and trying to impress you or make you think he knows what he is doing. I would not give anyone bad advice in that situation.
