A bit of both. People are always jealous on some level. And here's some good advice- what about not listening to anyone but you?
many times we overly listen to what other people say because we think if we dont, we will fail. but why dont you listen to yourself? sure we all need advice from time to time, but the only that can make that decision is you. advice is only to complement your decision, not determine it. i dont know who is giving you advice, but if their advice doesnt make sense, dont take it!
First consider the people who are giving you the advice, maybe you should be the one GIVING ADVICE INSTEAD OF RECEIVING IT!
